Why we exist

It started with one term of school fees. It became a network, so no woman walks the road of loss alone.

Grace A. · Sewing & Tailoring

When a close friend lost her husband, our founder watched her be left alone once the funeral crowd went home. She paid one term of school fees so her son could stay in school.

That single act is where everything below began.

  1. 01

    One term of school fees

Paid so a grieving friend's son could stay in school.

  2. 02

    Three programmes, in order

School for her children, a trade, then capital to start.

  3. 03

    A network, built with her

Shaped alongside the widows it serves — never for them.

Our promise to every woman

  • We relate.
  • We understand.
  • We listen.
  • We care.

Stories of change

For a year after my husband died I could not think past the next week. The other women in my cohort had all lost someone too. That was the first room where I did not have to explain myself.
